Manufacturer Warranties and Extended Warranties
Safeware
With several plans to choose from, Safeware’s Card Program offers a variety of coverage options designed to fit your device needs. You choose!
• All plans in Safeware’s Card Programs have no deductible and protect against mechanical/electrical failure, manufacturer’s defect issues, failure during normal use, and accidental damage from handling (cracked screens, liquid spills, drops, falls, etc.).
A few examples of things that are not covered would be:
• Abuse or neglect of a device (think: you dropped it out your dorm room window to see what would happen.)
• Normal consumption of a device battery.
• Mechanical issues happening within the manufacturer’s warranty period (because your device manufacturer should be helping you take care of those issues.)
• Lost property or mysterious disappearance of a device.
